COOKIES Crafted with Love

Hello, I'm Sally.

I'm supporting the issues I care about by selling delicious cookies.

Sally's Cookies is a project rooted in love and compassion. It's a classic concept; I'm baking my famous american style chewy cookies and selling them to raise money for the causes I believe in, just like I did when I was a little kid. The difference is that this time I will be selling them from a beautiful food truck and not out of my grandparents garden.

All of the profits I make from this project are donated to organisations fighting against discrimination. My cookies are not just made with love, they're made FOR love.

Welcome to Sally's Cookies!

I dream of a society which is free from fear and shame.

It's everyones responsibility to take action against homophobia, racism, sexism, and other forms of discrimination. It's important that we take time to learn about how hate and fear affects us, and most importantly figure out creative ways we can alleviate it by promoting inclusiveness, understanding and kindness.

Most of us have felt discriminated against at some point in our lives and some of us experience discrimination every day. Discrimination can present itself in many ways, from bullying and harassment, to not having access to resources, simply because of skin colour, sexuality, gender, or faith. Over time, this could make us feel ashamed of who we are. It can make us feel angry, frustrated and fearful.

Discrimination deeply affects our mental health, relationships, and careers. It means that life can become a difficult struggle. I don't want us to struggle through life, I want us to do more than just survive, we deserve to thrive.

Sally's Cookies is a fun project which will raise money and awareness for issues and organisations fighting against discrimination.

Kompass & Co

I'm very happy to start working with the amazing Kompass & Co as I launch the Sally's Cookies project. Kompass & Co is an social organisation which organises environmentally focused projects to help get young people into work. They do everything from growing green rooms and roof gardens to street food and catering. Their fantastic team lifts the urban environment and equips young people with tools to get ahead in life. We share their ethos that the most important thing we can do is help each other. Together we become more powerful.

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.

I'm a British designer and have been living in Norway for 7 years. In the day time I work for a digital agency making apps and websites, and by night I work on my 3 passions: making it easier to eat and shop greener in Norway, baking fabulous cookies, and brewing kombucha! I'm passionate about technology, the environment, compassion, and kindness.
